Creamy Classic Hummus

Who doesn't enjoy a yummy and healthy snack? This is my go-to recipe to munch on with bread, veggie sticks or even chips. Hassle free and cannot go wrong.

Preparation Time : 2 hours

Cooking Time : 15 minutes


Before we get started, listing out the ingredients with substitutes that you would require to make this delicacy


INGREDIENTS :

  1. Boiled chickpeas (preferably overnight)

  2. Garlic cloves

  3. Olive oil (preferred) /vegetable oil

  4. Salt

  5. Cumin powder

  6. Tahini sauce / dry roasted sesame seeds

  7. Ice cubes (magic ingredient)


PROCEDURE :

1. Add the boiled chickpeas to the mixer grinder. Grind it for about 10 secs.

2. Add 1 tbsp oil and Tahini sauce/dry roasted sesame seeds. Grind again for 10 secs

3. Add garlic cloves, salt, cumin powder. Add 2 tbsp oil. Grind again for 10 secs.

4. Add 2-4 ice cubes and grind twice for 10 secs till you get a creamy texture! Store in an air tight container in your fridge for up to 7 days.
